Visiting from out of town when engine light came on. Engine was cutting out intermittently on my ‘07 VW GLI. I looked for a place w/ good reviews and found European Motorsports, a 4.9 out of 5 positive. From the initial contact, I knew I found the right place. Spoke with Eddie, he ran diagnostics and said it was an intermittent fuel rail issue. Maybe a coil or a plug. He said it can be fixed when I return to my hometown. He said: “No charge.” In a world of $150 Initial diagnostic fees no matter where you go, this was an unexpected surprise. He flatly refused a cash tip for diagnostic service and said to pay the gesture forward. For those of you local to Kingsport, you are lucky to have this place available to you, trust me!

Eddie and Allen dropped a new (2012) engine into our 2009 Audi A4 Quattro. They are literally obsessed with making everything work perfectly so you can just drive and enjoy. Great communicators, experts at what they do - I can't speak to other brands, but they live and breathe Audi.

I called this shop practically in tears after getting a transmission error code in the middle of a few thousand mile road trip. I believe it was Allen(?) who answered the phone and helped. I drove the 1.5 hours there where he helped me out immediately. He checked the codes, gave me a full report, even put a quart of oil in my car…all without charging me a dime. What a great person and great shop. He turned a scary moment into a positive experience. Thank you!
