They do not disclose that pit bulls [and other breeds] are not allowed. My friend drove 2 hrs to be turned away because of the breed of her sweet dog. I got very sick from drinking the water marked "potable" and had to go to urgent care. Staff wasn't the friendliest. Great location, on a clean beautiful river. Nice sites with lots of privacy. Bath house was pretty clean.

Been going for a few years, it's a quiet campground, the highway is close by, so if that bothers you, don't go. The sites are clean and well maintained, the staff is friendly, we have never once encountered any issues that other people speak of with security. Always found them to be friendly!

Only ever been to float down river. Go early on a hot day I believe they start at 9. Pack sunscreen and a good floating cooler with drinks and food. Favorite place to float

A very nice camping site along the river. River Water is right in front of the site and shallow, up to leg height of an adult so you can just cook and sit down as kids play inflatable in the river! You are free to bring your only inflatable else can buy one easily in a nearby Walmart. It has drinking water and electricity on site, wifi in front of store only, cell signal and data access on site too that we played movie at nights. The campground has the river tubing for extra fees that brings you upstream and flow down (4hrs trip). Only thing not good is that the campground is right off I93 so the traffic will wake you up at 5am.
