Come to the center at 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. Check in at the day center desk. This is an adult-only facility (18 and older), by the way.
Please call Transitions and ask for Ayana, the youth case manager, 803-708-4861, or ask for Kamisha Heppard.
Hey, I am unsure if there are any opening or how to go about getting their help, but this link will take you to the main shelters that help those in your situation. Although, I know nothing about MHA and cant answer the question of whether or not they can help as well or not. But these are the well known organizations and shelters that help in that area. (I actually just moved from Columbia but now live in FL) https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS911US911&ei=CCNZX8TxK8Pb5gKfnpCYDA&q=shelters+for+battered+women+columbia+sc&oq=shelters+for+battered+women+columbia+sc&gs_lcp=CgZwc3ktYWIQAzIGCAAQFhAeOgQIABBDUOIlWNU4YP45aABwAHgAgAGLAYgBwgqSAQQxMS4zmAEAoAEBqgEHZ3dzLXdpesABAQ&sclient=psy-ab&ved=0ahUKEwjElc_23dzrAhXDrVkKHR8PBMMQ4dUDCA0&uact=5
