Fresh dredged onion rings, burger made with beef from their farm, crispiest french fries, not to mention home made hot fudge sauce and peanut butter sauce.

We just ordered ice cream there and it was not a pleasant experience. First the girl taking the order couldn't comprehend that I wanted 3 different flavored scoops in one bowl. Then I order two identical Razzles with Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. Thats where the fun really begins! The girl making the Razzle then made a Reese Pieces Razzle. She looked absolutely dumbfounded when I gave it back to her and asked for the one that I ordered. The girl that took the order apparently had to explain the difference between the two Reeses products to her. I then get two cups of milk with two ground up Peanut Butter cups and two whole Peanut Butter Cups. I was trying to figure out why I got a straw given to me for soft serve ice cream but I soon figured it out. For $16.00 I got two small cups of sweet milk and 8 Peanut Butter cups. Not sure what happened because they used to give you a real serving for the amount of money you spent and the product was properly made. So sad to see things fall apart like that there. They have always seemed to do well.

Food was good. Wait staff was very nice. Could have done without, what appeared to be the owner, reprimanding her entire staff on the restaurant floor. But otherwise an enjoyable experience.

My first time going and I'm glad I did the staff was amazing the food was so delicious also was able to see them making syrup a great place I will return if anyone is looking for a great place to have a meal this is the place to goThank you for your kind review. We strive every weekend to make the sugar house a fun place to come and enjoy good food, a place to unplug and relax on the farm. Soon the weather will be nice enough for outside dining and a trip to our baby calf barn. Hope to see you again soon.

Stuart & John's Sugar House (Owner) | Apr 4, 2021

Our restaurant practices all the state requirements for restaurants. Masks, 6 feet between tables, all staff members are masked and food service gloves are worn by cook staff. Tables are sanitized between customers and no more that one party in the check in area at a time. Pagers are used for any wait times and customers are required to wait outside or in their cars. We have take out windows as well. Our dining room is at 50% due to 6 foot table restrictions. We have an outside tent that will be in place as soon as the weather permits. For any questions, please contact us at 603-399-4486.

Today is 28th. We have company flying in from CO, are they still boiling sap?

Tracy Pope | Apr 4, 2019

We are not boiling sap anymore.

do you do tours of the process any thing special goung on this maple syrup weekend so you have other animals? thank you

Nancy Waltos | Apr 4, 2018
Richard Fuller | Apr 5, 2018

My experience is they do tours of the boiling room, explain the process well, answer questions and offer liberal tasting of Maple syrup right out of the evaporator. There are no animals in site as it is a food/food producing business. There is a photo op wooden playground tractor out side and several antique tractors outside. There is a farm just down and across the road but i don't think it has anything to do with the sugar/pancake House. We enjoy this as an annual spring family event and stock up on real Maple syrup for the year!
