Phenomenal experience! The food was so delicious that it was hard to pick a favorite. Emilee was a wonderful host! So kind and attentive. Would love to come back again!

Walked in at 3p and where told they stop serving at 2p but the location closes at 4pm? So why not lock your doors at 2p?? They also don’t sell crème brûlée

The afternoon tea service is such a fantastic activity! Our group went for a bachlorette outing and we are so happy we did. Not only was the tea delicious, but we had amazing sandwiches, snacks, and desserts. Emilee went above and beyond to make our tea service special and it was very nice to have the restaurant to ourselves. If you are looking for something unique for a Charleston activity, I would highly recommend this!

I planned a birthday celebration on Saturday, August 20, 2022, for my sister and her daughter, July birthdays, (12th and 25th, respectively) and sister-in-law's August 1st birthday. I gave each s monogrammed bathrobe, stemless wine glass with their birth month flower and a bottle of red wine for niece and sister-in-law and sparkling apple juice for my sister. I also chose an Afternoon Tea which started at 3pm. We really enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch. They close at 4pm. They require 48 hours notice for the tea service. The hors d'oeuvre were delicious. Check out their Afternoon Tea Menu for more detailed information. We each chose our tea, I chose Organic Earl Gray, my niece chose the Chai tea, my sister and sister-in-law each chose Green Tea Tropical blend. Hors d'oeuvre served, were Spanakopita, (cucumber sandwich substitute), curry chicken salad, the egg salad sandwiches and even the smoked salmon sandwiches were delicious. I'm normally not a lover of smoked salmon, but it was very tasty. The mini ham sandwiches, (sandwiches were freshly made), assortment of scones, cookies and chocolate dessert were all very good. We topped it off with a glass of champagne for my niece and a glass of Prosecco for my sister and for myself. Even though I chose a Saturday for our tea date, I didn't think about how busy the area would be with tourist/visitors at 3pm. But it was not a problem, we parked in the nearby parking garage near East Bay Street. Restaurant only a short distance away, maybe 2 to 3 blocks away. Trust me, prior to my lower back surgery on May 23, 2022. I would not have been able to walk a quarter of block, my family would have needed to drop me or pick me up in front of the building. I highly recommend East Bay Meeting House for Afternoon Tea. We'll most definitely return to try their regular menu.

Not really it's already super crowded
Pretty standard ... tables socially distanced and servers are masked. Tables are cleaned and disinfected after each use.
Had a bacon fig goat cheese panini and I did not see turkey bacon the menu🤷
