I called for an estimate to have a new belt installed on my old Kenmore electric dryer (late 80's/ early 90's model). I spoke with the gentleman, who was in The Philippines, and he told me that I would have to pay $89.00 just to have a technician come out, and have HIM tell me how much it would cost me. He did say that the $89.00 would be waived if I had the tech do the job, but he still wouldn't tell me how much the actual job would be. I told this guy all of the info he needed to give me a price. He just kept telling me that the average repair costs $275.00 (as if I'd pay that to have a belt put on a thirty year-old dryer). I won't be using this outfit.

Trying to speak TO A PERSON ABOUT HAVING A REPAIR DONE IS A NIGHTMARE. The repair men were very good, courteous and clean.

The technician was very timely and had no trouble when I referred him to the property manager in order to set up the appointment time. He explained the situation well and discussed the next steps that would be taken after the service was completed.
