South Saint Paul Rod & Gun Club Zack was the range safety officer today 17 Sept. 2022 Just want to give him the acknowledgment that he deserves. He did an awesome job we had a birthday party with dad‘s and their sons that were shooting for the first time for some of the boys, had a good time Zack was professional and worked hard on the range the whole time we were there. he did an outstanding job! Glad you have stellar people like him working for you. Thanks for making a great day Zack and keeping everybody safe. Appreciate it. First time on your facility nice little set up you got there for as long as you’ve been around. Thank you so much. Eric Petersen

Friendly and helpful employees. The whole facility is pretty big and has everything you need including a bar and grill if you get hungry like we did. We shot at the rifle/pistol range where the range manager was informative and nice. The range has a variety of different distances to shoot from and plenty of lanes. The range buildings are not the most beautiful thing but it gets the job done and is my kind of "vibe" in that respect. Considering becoming a member, and will definitely be back!

Zach over at the rifle/handgun range helped me out a ton. Definitely looking forward to going back to shoot some clays this time.

Hi Sean! This isn't a service we officially provide, but if the range isn't too busy the safety officer can help you. We can't guarantee when the range will be busy and not, but Google should be able to give you some good insight to that, or you can call us and see. See you at the range soon!
Hi! Yes, you may absolutely bring your gun, provided it meets the legal minimum barrel length of 18 inches, and for such practice we require it be shot at our rifle/pistol range. Hope that helps!
You'll need to look it up through the DNR because it depends if the people that taught in years past might not want to currently. I had to drive 3hrs across the state to get to a class that was available.
