My husband and I absolutely loved the walking trails and the historic buildings/homes! Great park for the entire family, whether you like to be active or if you're not able to walk, they have nice seating areas

Not a bad place for Pokemon go. But the fishing is pretty bad when they "stock" the ponds they stock it with baby catfish and I believe some bass but you'll never catch em and when people do they keep them wich is a bummer because that leaves no game fish there at all. I went three days in a row and no bites on jigs spinners worms or chicken livers. it just feels empty and yes I fished all 3 ponds, there's better fishing trust me.

No, drones are not allowed in Gaston County public parks.
I think it is 24/7. Lately I have been running after sunset. With a head light no problems. No gates.
