Very clean place. Staff is on top of any reported issues and are making a huge effort to revitalize this park. Lots of tree coverage for most of the park. It's right off I95 so the noise can be strong in the front but the tree coverage helps the further you go back. There's a pond for fishing, playground, pool, small and free game room, two laundry rooms, and they are building more amenities. They have a RV repair man on site for hire who will also wash your rig.

We've stopped her for years. Great place. Best part is we are in a 42 ft motorhome and towing a 28 ft trailer and don't have to unhook! Our site is long enough! Great dog park for our 2 black labs, beautiful lawns, nice pool. People who run place are super nice. Lots of nice neighbors, too.

The grounds were nice looking, though the kind of chunky gravel was tough on the feet. We had lots of space and no difficulty hooking up. The problems were in the sanitation of the facilities. Someone made a #2 mess in the men's room, the showers in the men's room didn't work except for 1 out of 3 and in the ladies room it was moldy, floor was dirty, toilets needed cleaning and the showers were very unsanitary. Good signs not to use them or the pool. There was dog poo on the grounds and especially in the dog run. We cleaned up after our pooches and a couple of others. We would never have chosen this place but our daughter had just bought a camper and wanted a place to check it out and learn how to set it up and take it down. We stayed a couple of days. Interstate 95 runs right next to the campground, but our AC was loud enough to drown out the sound.

They have a few cabins.
Yes they have long term camping spots. No license to fish its private property and yes catch and release
Check-in is 12 noon. Check-out is 11. The office opens at 8:30. It closes at 7 in the summer but 6 in the winter. There is an after-hour check-in
Yes. We are a full service park. 30 and 50 amp electric with water and sewer. L.P. is available. We also have a pool and bocce court and a large dual sided dog run with 5 foot fencing. There is a lake for catch and release fishing, no license required
It's $650-700 depending on site. Metered electric.
Added to other responses, take your own fire pit if want to have campfire. They recently purchased camp ground and making changes. Adding a store at some point. Nice pool. Highway a little noisey, if bothers you can try to get a spot toward back. Has a sewer hookup for sites that makes it convenient.
Yes
You can bring your own fire pit but I don't believe they have any there for you to use.
The only tent camping I know of would be at a KOA. The is one near Enfield NC (north) and one in Lumberton (south of us)
The rates vary from $450 (only a few) to $650 (Only 1 available at the minute). The vast majority are 550 or 600. Many details on our website: RVacation.us Not sure what a flare rate is...
I do not know. Check there web site.
There are two locations. One is at the office near the entrance. The newer family-style bathrooms are at the clubhouse/pool.
There is an Uber/Lyft driver on the property.
Yes, call, or check out the website for that information. Good place.
We have bobtail road tractors that come in once in a while but we do not have room for a standard cargo trailer
It would be best to look at our rate page on our website as there are many different types of sites with different rates. Calling at 919-965-5923 is the best way to find out if a site is available.
Sunny and 56 degrees
It depends on what size and what lot you want. It also depends in your camper or RV size and utilities you need.😋
The campground is fine. We never lost power. It took half a day to pick up broken limbs but nothing major...certainly no damage. There are no flooded roads in the immediate area. Our pond never left its banks.
Yes, near the front entrance. $10 fee for those not spending the night.
Only by phone or email.
Mitch, I'm military too. But with the Good Sam discount.... you're still getting a great deal for a clean and safe stay.
not requirement however camper must be in good working condition..enjoy. give them a call they are a very helpful group of folks..
Yes. You get 10% Good Sam discount. If your only staying a night or two, they have W/E sites, which is little cheaper. Most of their sites are pull through.
