Triangle Vet did an awesome job caring for my dog after she got into my protein bar stash. They kept her for 2 nights and both times they kept me very well-updated. I told them I was leaving on a trip and my flight times, and they timed their updates accordingly. They also told me I could call any time I wanted for updates and every time they were super nice and I didn’t feel like I was “bothering” them or being annoying. The cost seemed VERY reasonable to me for 2 days of doggie hospitalization. They kept her through the afternoon for me so my friends could pick her up when they got out of work. Thank you so much! —Rachel (and Miss Ellie)

This is a review for TVRH's neurology service. They are fantastic. The staff was kind and professional, it didn't take long to get a neuro consult and they were able to complete an MRI the following day. Dr. Warren is kind, extremely knowledgeable and really listens to you. The coordination and communication amongst the hospital staff is impressive. The prices were competitive with other neuro specialists in the area. During checkout an emergency came in and the front desk staff were compassionate and quick to respond. I would 10/10 recommend them.

The three stars are for the friendly and attentive staff, competent radiologist and attentiveness we received through the emergency episode our dog went through, and we very much appreciate that. However, the policy of obtaining credit card information within the first five minutes of our dog arriving is downright obnoxious. You’re an emergency vet so it’s nearly a guarantee that pet owners are in a state of crisis when entering your doors. To immediately ask for a credit card is not only in direct opposition to standard trauma-informed communication practice; it is absolutely obnoxious. This policy needs to be changed immediately. So long as this policy remains in place, this hospital needs to know it is actively causing distress to its patrons during acutely stressful situations. This policy made me feel invalidated and reduced to a dollar amount during a time of intense stress. Payment can and should be handled after (and only after) the owner’s pet has been taken in, seen by the doctor and assessed.

On Feb 2019 bill, abdominal ultrasound $308 + $95 for reading the results. That said, there were lots of additional charges on the bill, just like a human hospital, that might jack up your overall cost. In our experience, they found nothing on the ultrasound but because it wasn't clear if they had an actual, trained Radiologist involved, I had to have it repeated at NC State Vet School <48 hrs later and they DID find abnormal findings, which suggests the ultrasound at Triangle was sub-par.
Hi Anne, We're an emergency and specialty hospital. You'll need to purchase flea and tick preventative from your family veterinarian. They'll be able to discuss with you all the options on the market today. Regards, TVRH Staff
If you are seeing Emergency you dont need a referral or appointment. If you need to see a specialist, like an Oncologist or Cardiologist, etc, you need a referral and an appointment. If your pet sees emergency and the ER doctor recommends a specialist to further examine, then you do not need a referral from your doctor since TVRH doctor is referring.
No idea, you should call and ask, they're open 24 hours and have taken great care of me and my pets.
Job posting on Indeed. Companies name TVRH
