As far as the place/business. I have no idea. But there tagged/partnered with Adopt a pet online, the site online says there the pet is here, the pet is not at this facility, a whole different state, 8 hrs + from Ohio. And the ppl we emailed right off the bat tried to sell us a scam transportation company. Nothing about the dog, no questions we asked were answered, nothing in regards to the actual pet. I am so sick of you online scam artist.

They are very attentive & caring . I'll be a lifetime customer. I have 5 dog's so I'll get to know them very well over the next year .

We adopted Finnegan (AKA Spuds), in October, 2021. He is supposedly a chihuahua/terrier mix, 25 pound maximum weight. He is the best dog! We have fallen in love with him and his curious nature. He had several brothers and sisters up for adoption also. I'm curious if any of these dogs look like Finn. He is now over 60 pounds!

Emailed the application for a dog we saw on their website and it's been a week with no response. It's not only this dog adoption site, but the majority of them. They don't respond to adopt after an application is sent to them. With the increase of dogs for adoption due to the cost of keeping a dog, you would think they would do everything to get the dog adopted. Especially to revise their three page ridiculous adoption forms. A vet, and personal reference is all they should need. Not the history of one's life.

Questions & Answers

Why have I not received a reply to my inquiry about Hokie and Pokie? Seriously interested in the pair of them.

Be more persistent than you think is reasonable. I had to apply 3 times to get one dog because they lost my application. Organization isn't their strong suit, plus the dogs aren't all fostered in the same place, plus I think the woman in charge of CCR has some health issues. BUT, I believe they do care passionately about getting dogs out of high kill shelters and are genuinely good people. My second suggestion is to try to find an alternative email on the site. There were two I used, --after my first application went unanswered for 5 days. Good luck!

Yes. I adopted a dog from them recently. I had to reapply 3 times because my application was lost. Then, when I was finally approved I was told that several others had been approved to adopt the same dog so the dog would go to whomever could get their arrangements made first. It felt a little disorganized. BUT, I believe the organization is being run by people with good hearts who genuinely want to see animals go to good homes. Be persistent once you've selected a dog. Be ready to follow up with multiple emails and phone calls. But we adopted 'Hazel' a few months ago and we really love her. She was worth the work!
