First time having Mezzaluna. We took several entrees home. Absolutely blown away at how delicious!! This is restaurant food to go, not take out like most Italian places. We can’t wait to dine in… By far, best Italian food in the area, and we have been here for decades! Can’t recommend it enough! Just go! 😊

Pleasant response to start when I called ahead of time for a 12pm seating for my family and 4 of my daughters friends ( a little birthday get together), a total of 9 people. I was informed once we started ordering that certain foods are "not allowed" in the "dining room" area. The foods not allowed in the dining room that we asked for were ...Garlic knots, 2 Large Cheese Pizzas and Buffalo Wings. Personal pizzas are the only pizzas allowed in the dining room. I was very confused since Mezza Luna is an Italian restaurant that sells all 3. We had already been seated in the dining room area and I did not want to move everyone to limited booth seating. These limitations wouldn't have been a problem for me if I was informed "ahead" of time. I did not see this information anywhere on their website, in their menu online, in their menu in the restaurant, and we were not informed before we were seated. We had looked at the menu online extensively before visiting Mezza Luna. One of my children has a disease that does not allow her to have gluten and the menu offered quite a bit of gluten-free options which we were excited to try in addition to the foods I mentioned above. Our server was very good. I did state my disappointment respectfully. The unexpected limitations and preventable confusion ruined my experience here. I appreciate your response. I understand the economics from both your standpoint and the customer. Saying "Dine-In" is a pretty open ended statement when you have booths as customers enter your restaurant and you also have a formal dining area. How about stating in the menu online "Formal Dining Room Menu Only" and also reminding customers of this policy before seating them. Also, how about a little flexibility during the early lunch hour and for at least 5 potential repeat customers? I have worked in and dined in many restaurants...and "yes" high end ones too. Never had such confusion. We weren't there for "just" wings, pizza, and garlic knots as I noted in my original post. But even if we were, I shouldn't have to find out after we are seated what we can't order. For the record we did order food from the dinner menu and I intended to order more but I was very annoyed and no longer interested in trying the other items. You asked what would make my next visit better. Fixing the problem areas above and a free glass of wine for my wife and I (she had to deal with me being annoyed). LOL The gluten-free Penne alla Vodka with Pancetta was very good and so was the Mezza Luna Beet Salad. The gluten-free pizza sauce and toppings were also very good but not the crust. Switching to cauliflower crust instead of the rice flour one would be doing every gluten allergy customer a huge favor. Joe Francise ********** Thank you...We will be back. :-)

Not 100% accurate. However there may be a pizza special that has that have similar ingredients of that theme.
We are going to have a consolidated smaller menu and a pre fixed option. If you'd like we can email the menu to you. If you have any questions, feel free to call. Thank you.
