The children’s section is pretty great. Staff is very friendly. Right in the center of town and Main Street so kind of a hassle getting in and out.

The worst library I live in Columbia county and they want me to pay 20$ a year for a library card . I go to other libraries out of the area and it is free for a library card.

Recently moved to Bloomsburg from Pawling, NY (where they’ve abandoned fees) and find myself very disappointed in the library here. I took out a book and incurred a fine of over $5. Since the website is horrible, I could not determine the due date. And.. the library input my email incorrectly. Therefore, I asked for a concession based on my being new and their inputting my email incorrectly but alas, it was a big, fat NO! They do not seem to have newer books in the system in a timely fashion. But what turned me off more than anything is the fact that I applied for a job in the library which they have been advertising on their website since 2021. I typed a resume and cover letter (required by Lydia, the library director) complete with Albert Einstein quote, and never so much as received a call thanking me for my interest. Very disappointing.
