All of the lifeguard staff here was exceptional....truly going above and beyond for everyone and super vigilant. Really made me feel like my 3 year old was safe. They bent over backwards to catch her after water slides and encourage her to try new things. We went here on a whim and we will make sure to go back next time we are in town!

Perfect for all ages! My kids loved it! So did the adults! The staff is so nice and so quick to fix things! A little pedal broke off the toddler water toy and they fixed it right away! People were always asking if I needed anything! Someone was always around picking up any wrappers left behind! It was so CLEAN!!! So nice!

We went here for the 4th of July. It was clean enough, but the staff were absolutely ridiculously rude. (Aside from the snack shack) there was hardly any shade. They had tents you could rent in advance, but the cost for admission alone was outrageous. We even went at 3pm to save some money. It was still over 50.00 for me and my daughter. No outside drinks or food. We sat our stuff down at a table with an umbrella by the kiddie area and people literally just put their stuff over ours, I rushed over there, she said sorry I just had to sit down. 🙄 The establishment itself seemed fairly clean. I didn't check out the shower or 🚻. So I'm not sure about those. But, everything was expensive, a tourist trap or not it's over priced. I'm a local, and this was only my 2nd time going here. The last time I had been to big surf was when I was like 6. We weren't impressed and we probably won't be going back. Each to their own.

I took my kids here for the first time this past summer. I used to be a lifeguard here years ago.. I wanted them to experience and see where I worked as a teenager. This park always has clean water, great staff and a great place for …

No shorts or long pants. See below. Appropriate Attire Nylon swimsuits with liner are recommended. No thong bathing suits, men’s racing-style bathing suits, regular shorts or long pants are permitted. Swimwear with buttons, snaps, rivets or zippers are not permitted. Only water shoes with non-skid soles may be worn on the rides (i.e., no flip-flips, sandals or athletic shoes) Toddlers are required to wear swim diapers. Swimwear must be appropriate for our family environment.
They have an area just outside the gates with tables and umbrellas for people who bring their own food. You get your hand stamped for re-entry to the park.
I think so. They also have lockers for you to rent so you can lock them up before going on the rides. I saw other people bring bags in just fine. They didn't mind.

Raincheck.
To be determined, meaning if the weather permits
Not sure but it could use some updates
Everyone said no coolers already, but i would also like to point out that Big Surf isn't like six flags where you walk 10 miles to the gate from your car. It's a really short distrance. Like a Walmart parking lot. So eating at the car is still really convenient.
