I don't normally post these things but I'll make an exception for today! They deserve it! I went today for the first time and was greeted.. attended to... and helped by the nicest staff I've ever met. Helpful kind and fast! My number was called at soon as I sat down! I cannot say enough about how kind these people are! If the world was full of people like the staff I met the world would finally know peace and love! God bless these wonderful people!

Just spoke to a lady there who was 10000% the most arrogant/rude she could possibly be. It’s unfortunate I am dealing with the death of my partner and the way she communicates it’s disgusting. On top of that, she had no idea what she’s doing or what she is talking about.

Would give them 0 stars if it were an option..extremely rude people who won't give any info that you need. Thats government workers for you

You need your Drivers License or State ID, your Certified Birth Certificate and if you are married, and you have a different last name, your marriage license. If you want to change back to your maiden name, take your divorce papers.

You can go to any SS office. Even if you are in another state visiting. The SS administration is a Government office.
You have to go in to your local office and they will order you another one.
