Both of my experiences with front desk staff were rude and not helpful. Will not be back. Simply acquiring schedules and retrieving information was like pulling teeth.

Wa-Ke Hatchee is an awesome hidden gem for the locals. Large dog park- 1 for small + 1 for large dogs. Nice wide open field -with super soft grass too- to play soccer, fly kites, a drone, etc. There's a path that goes around the property to walk, bike, ride scooters, etc. A couple pavilions w/ tables. Sand volleyball court. Tennis courts and now pickleball courts too. The rec building is a nice community center w/ various rooms (dance, game room, arts + crafts, large basketball court, + many more). The staff is always very friendly. We enjoy being a member. It'd be nice to see more programs offered though like what the other rec centers offer in Lee. There's a restroom outside right next to the playground. The playground is intended for older kids (6-12yo the sign says); it's pretty small & limited in my opinion. Not much offered really.. The majority of it is a rope jungle gym which is deteriorating. The only way up equipment is by the ropes or a large rock. Then there's 2 swings off to the side. A couple benches around for the adults to sit at. And a weird plastic hoop to shoot basketballs into I guess. I really wish the county would re-do the playground area here- make it a little bigger, add a couple more swings, different equipment options to go on bc right now it's just very limited and disappointing. It needs it.. especially since they do host great programs for the kids. That would really help make this park so much better and give us an alt option at least for this part of Lee.

Not sure. We went there for my son's basketball tournament and he is 11.
because of the public health scare. i would call them or go by to find out. plus this is answered mainly by locals like myself and not by staff
You have to go to the rec center day and ask
Yes you can. Schedule is at parks and rec website
Surprising that it would take >2days to realize that!
I believe during season you need to check in
4 to 6. There are leagues that use them part of the day. U would suggest calling.
Yes
I don't know but you can walk into the recreation center and ask them.
I dont play tennis. Give them a call...they are great people!
There is 5.4 miles of hiking trail. Beautiful around the river.
The National parks close when it begins to freeze. However it is still legal to camp and there is no charge. We were amazed to find that out. Just bring in your own water. The restrooms are open in the lower elevations. The ranger station has all the info.
No, there is no fishing or swimming in the ponds at this park. They are actually there as Retention Ponds for irrigation water.
