Foods great, service is bad. Couldn’t order from their kiosk since the payment wasn’t working properly and there was only a single employee working at the time. And this is rush hour lunch time! Foods almost worth the wait…

A consistent, good Xi’an Famous foods on the UES. The food is basically in line with their other locations. Liang pi is ok, I prefer their hand pulled noodles, especially the cumin lamb. Lunch times can get busy. If you want to mix things up, try the spicy tofu. Do not get the dumplings, they’re so doughy.

quick stop at @xianfoods made the perfect din din. the spinach dumplings 🥟🥟, braised lamb 🐑 hand cut noodles 🍜, and spicy cucumber 🥒 salad 🥗 are pictured. the noddles were heavy for me, which is awesome bc i only finished like half so i had an awesome snack for the next day 😎 that being said, i would get a vegetarian based noodle in the future for my tummy 😌 i LOVED these hand cut noodles. in the future, however, i’d order differently noodles-wise. everything else was absolutely fab ! 😚 • • overall, i WOULD recommend. this place was awesome. the true highlight was the chili oil. everything was drenched in it and i would t have it any other way! it was SO GOOD i could eat a bowl of it with some bread. it was DIVINE. i urge every one of you to read the note from the owner. he is speaking FACTS fr 💯

Our buns are supposed to be flat bread: hard and crunchy on the outside. Lamb is not necessarily saucy, because it's wok fried with spices, but there is chili oil so it'll look sauced. Pork is supposed to have stew added to it when diced, but the stew tends to soak quickly into the bread, so you won't see much of it usually. A small stall with lots of ventilation. The tables are close to each other but separated by dividers. Not the best but it works.
Only items marked as vegan or vegetarian are vegan or vegetarian. Others are not due to meat stock in stock or cross contamination. Please email www.xianfoods.com/contact for inquiries, as this is hard to keep track of for multiple questions. Thanks
They also don't take orders on the phone. Only in person
