The main entrance is closer to 15th Street. It is located on 9th Ave between 15th Street and 16th Street. Address is 75 9th Avenue. The closes major street is 14th Street.

Inside the Chelsea market, the only authentic Italian food to eat is Capponnes. It's more of a Salumeria tho. It's not a sit down restaurant but fantastic food

Just past the well on the ground floor is a huge fishmongers they could have some.
