I've personally had the pleasure of working with Chris Marciano and his company Prepare to Act. When it comes to the "hardening of a target," or becoming situationally aware in a business setting, he's been instrumental in helping companies mitigate situations in a workplace setting that could have gone sideways.

I hired Prepare to Act to do a program on Situational Awareness and De-Escalation & Verbal Conflict Resolution for my non-profit organization, Smaller Manufacturers Association of CT, and it was outstanding. Chris was an engaging speaker, bringing both personal emotion and energy to an important, not to mention serious, topic. The event attracted over 100 guests and every participant felt they got value from the presentation. I would highly recommend this program to any organization that has employees and want to educate them on how to stay safe in difficult situations.

I had a great experience taking the ladies NRA basic pistol course.Clint Hyduchak was an excellent instructor who kept our attention with humor while drilling into our memories all the essential information. He definitely taught me to shoot straight because my first shot at the range was a bullseye. I would definitely recommend the class and will be looking into other classes there myself. -Jen

A Pepper Ball projectile typically has a two-year shelf life. After that point, a projectile could still work, but its effectiveness will gradually decrease.
Absolutely. When it comes to personal safety, keeping a distance is your friend. Pepper ball guns shoot a projectile that can be effective from distances over 100 feet. Additionally, the simple shock to the senses of the perpetrator completely changes a person’s behavior. Pepper ball guns are powerful and accurate, and their successful use gives you more time to make critical and effective decisions.
Pepper ball guns shoot a round ball projectile, similar to a paintball. Upon impact, they “explode” with a pepper spray-like substance inside called PAVA (pelargonic acid vanillylamide), which is a synthetic version of capsaicin (the irritant found in pepper spray). Upon impact, the PAVA will affect the senses of an attacker, which gives you precious time to get away and find safety
Short answer: Yes. Pepper spray and other similar delivery methods, like the pepper ball gun, are legal in all 50 states. You must take into consideration a persons background and local or town ordinance restrictions
