I don't recommend this place. The prices of all items suggest a rip off. I am surprised at this blatant price gouging

I shop here more often than I’d like. There’s always an issue. If it isn’t some cashier criticizing my kid it’s that they overcharged me or forgot to ring everything up and I get home missing half my groceries. And they’ll blame the customer for that! Wether I was charged or not, going all the way back to the store is a huge inconvenience. It’s happened so many times and they don’t take responsibility. It’s also freezing in there, and they run out of things and never order them again. The guy at the vitamin counter is just outright mean. He yells at me and I’ve seen him yelling at other people. I’m simply not going there anymore. Seven years of this BS is enough. Shop at Frontier Natural Market on Cortelyou Rd or at the Flatbush Food Coop. The prices are similar and both those stores have more options and are kinder to customers. Update: They are definitely getting better. It’s still crowded with boxes most days and the produce is often dubious, but the cashiers are usually nice and manager is slightly less creepy than he used to be.

Check the expiration dates on everything you buy from this store. Lots of their products are close to the expired dates and if you don't check them, you will end up paying full price for expired products or products that will expire in the next week/month. I was there in May and there was an entire rack of gluten free cookies in the snack isle that had expired since early March. There were also nut butters, sweeteners, chips and pastas that were close dated or expired. Other than that, the store is well stocked with many products to choose from. They have a lot of alternative foods for people dealing with digestive issues and for people switching to a vegan or gluten free diet. The vitamins and supplements brands they carry are pretty decent but as I mentioned before, check the expiration dates before purchasing anything.

Went there a few times, and got boba twice. The boba tea there always had soggy tapioca balls, but today I decided to get it and it had soggier tapioca balls than before. It looks like it is melted and it taste very bad, and it also looks like the tapioca balls was sitting there for quite a while before it was in my drink. Never buying any juices or boba from there again.
