Best EVER !! Had to add thoughts to a review that gave AEFCU an 1 star review. Consumer Reports shouldn't be used as a go-to for researching any company or products . We are subscribers as well. Being a member since 1991 as well as my husband since he was a child through his Dad's employment. Our experience has never been lower than 5 stars. The staff is ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL and never have I heard or seen these dedicated employees come across as rude, show any unhappiness with their employment and even share in the joys of their customers lives. (My 1st Grandchild was the highlight of my life and they always made me feel like my joy was theirs) I am a subscriber of CR and would love to read your claim. Free coin machine for members, always updating online capabilities and recently decreased paper transaction slips with state of art palm scanning service to ensure customer integrity and doing everything to decrease paper waste which in turn saves our future environment. Staff changes are required to train and be aware of how the company operates within other branches. Use your personal experience to determine your opinion, while researching businesses is beneficial, many are either not reviewed or not accurate. Per another review complaining about showing ID , I am certain if your account was impacted due to no ID needed, the first to blame would be the AEFCU. This is done for the consumer safety To AEFCU Staff , there is NO other financial institution that can provide the best possible customer service , help with ANY issues and always done with a kind word, smile and our family is extremely proud to be members for over 30 years. Have recommended AEFCU to friends,family members and will continue to do so ! Keep smiling!

CONSUMER REPORTS does not list AEFCU hence does not recommend this institution. Smaller banks local Unions made the list, AEFCU did not. Here is why; Hardly any branches, always new faces, it seems people dont work there for long which means they probably pay slave wages, rates are the same as any other bank ,tellers are just as nice and plain like in any other bank, they operating under pretense of being local but the reviews from BBB shows a different tale, a tale of misery and burden perpetrated by AEFCU and folks upon themselves. It was an eye opener...In a nutshell they don't stand out. Bigger the bank the better more branches more options! Consumer Reports recommends Ally for checking (0.25) and saving (APY) 0.50% we are in the process of switching since American Eagle Credit Union have nothing to offer except quick cash dump off for those who earn cash. 5 year member

Hi Tony, are you referring to depositing checks? If so, yes. Our Mobile Banking app allows you to deposit checks from your phone or tablet.
