Admission and parking are free if you are a veteran. Also can get free admission if you get a Columbus metro library card and ask for a culture pass. Information on all of the wars beginning with the Revolution. Helpful staff.

Very interesting and nice museum.

So beautiful on the inside and outside on the grounds (which are free). Tranquil, touching, and moving. The architecture is incredible and the use of colored windows on the top floor is really unique. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design, which puts the veterans at the forefront. Extremely clean as well.

What a cool place to look at history and have a social conference.

Free if you park in their lot and get your ticket validated at the museum.
According to their website, they're closed on Easter.
We are in the process of setting up our café. The full set up will be in place Spring 2019, but we will have some quick-service items in the near future. We will announce information on the website and social media once it is up and running. A list of frequently asked questions can be found here: http://nationalvmm.org/visit/faqs/

There is handicap parking but it is still a decent walk to the entrance. The museum isn't that big compared to say the art museum but if walking is an issue I would recommend a wheel chair or scooter.
Yes you can
Sorry, I am not familiar with this person.
Yes, you can buy them at the door. They're $17 for adults. Cheaper for students and elders. Free for veterans and kids. Definitely worth going to. It was very moving and educational.
An hour to two hours
We look forward to having National Veterans Memorial and Museum items available and are in the process of setting up our Museum store. We will announce information on the website and social media once it is up and running. A list of frequently asked questions can be found here: http://nationalvmm.org/visit/faqs/
Thank you for your question. The National Veterans Memorial and Museum features the Coast Guard as well. It was a priority for the exhibition program to focus on the people - the soldier, sailor, airman, Marine, Coastguardsman and their families – from answering the call to life after military service. From the moment you park and see the five branches of service flags represented to the people, artifacts and stories featured in the exhibits – the Museum represents all branches of service and all conflicts.
