I'm really disappointed in this bus company. Everytime I use it, there is always a new issue I find. Today I paid my fare and asked for a transfer; got off the bus (#4) at Town St. and Norwichtown. I walked across the street to shop at the Stop and Shop. The bus then came to the stop and shop on it's return route. My transfer was not valid. I was then informed. TRANSFERS ARE ONLY VALID AT THE TRANSPORTATION CENTER. So. Ive paid twice as much for a ride to and from one location because I got off the bus and back on the same one 15 mins later. No where is it posted is transfers are only valid at the transit center. This is unfair to the daily rider. My transfer should allow me to use the buses until the transfer expires. Why am I being punished if I can plan my time efficiently.

Associates are very rude every time I call asking questions regarding the bus. They dont need to be so rude!!! Tired of it. EVERYTIME I CALL THE LADY IS ABSOLUTELY UPTITE & CUTS ME OFF. If youre not happy at your job, quit.

Was standing on the corner waiting for my bus and it drove right past me. Mind you the bus never comes up this side of town @ the time it did today. I called the office and whoever answer was rude and uncooperative. Cut me off mid sentence and wouldn't let me talk. This is not the first time I have had t make complaints against a driver or the person in the office answering phones. This company needs to put more bus stops in the area instead of us having to constantly flag down buses.

Mr. Turner: Routes 7,8 and 9 operate on Saturdays. At this time, we do not plan to restore Sunday service, as we do not have adequate funding (mostly State funds) and local funds to do so. FYI, Routes 8 and 9 did not have Sunday service prior to the pandemic. Finally, revenues (mostly fares) only cover about 15% of SEAT's operating costs - the balance is made up with State and local grants and Sunday service was the least cost-effective service provided.
There is no fare.I just checked the website.seatbus.com.
Route 2 travels on State Route 12 through Preston between Norwich and Groton.
Karen's nailed it. Thank you.
Jovita: No, but the operator cannot make change, so essentially we can accept overpayments.
Route 5 to Norwich Transit Center, than transfer to either Route 1 or 7 to Mohegan Sun. Route 1 will be more direct.
