This hotel will charge $50 a night in incidentals, and hold that money for ten days after you check out! We stayed for three weeks, Monday-Thursday night, we’re charged $200 and again on Monday when we came back. And again on the third week which fell in that ten day period. My men had $600 held ransom from their checking account. I am a Hilton rewards holder, I’ve stayed at the Embassy Suites and only charged $25 for my stay! I would never recommend the Hampton Inn Monticello for any one!

Positive: They allowed us to use the breakfast area for gathering our out-of-town family members. The first three mornings of our stay the staff member providing breakfast was so pleasant and attentive to our needs. Very friendly (I should have gotten her name). Negative: The housekeeping left much to be desired. The room had posted that we needed to ask for our room to be serviced. The front desk said not now. Towels were all taken and not replaced. The bed was not made. No replacements for hygiene/or toilet paper.
