Very informative.

The people that work here are very nice, but their outdated systems and policies are from the last century. The "contact us" link directs you to the voter registration department for the city. My voter registration was "inactivated" when I temporarily forwarded my mail while I was out of town. I basically had to re-register myself. The on-line registration was through a third party, so I was told not to rely on it. My mail in registration form was lost. I eventually had to go down person to get re-registered. When I checked this morning, the website still said I was registered. Yet when I called, it said I have been reactivated. I guess the website has a lag time with the computer system. If we are trying to discourage people from voting, then we have a great system. I would suggest that we get into the current century with on-line registration, no-excuse-required absentee ballots and early voting. All of these were available in Florida, which is supposed to be a backwater compared to NY, right?

Go to the dollar store..they have all kinds of stickers for you honey
Due to an incredible increase in the volume of absentee voting this year the line is often busy. Be patient and keep trying. The process to check the status of your ballot is very brief. You can amend where you want your ballot sent if you need to as long it is postmarked by 11/5 and have many questions answered quickly. My parents spoke with someone yesterday and they were very helpful to them.
Pick up a registration form at any library or post office or print it out online. Drop it off in Yaphank or mail it to PO BOX 700 Yaphank NY 11980. Do not do it through DMV it gets delayed.
Any day noe
What number are you calling? I reached them yesterday
🤔
good for you
Early voting in NYS ended yesterday Sunday Nov. 3rd. Election day is Tuesday Nov 5th and anyone registered in their county can vote for any party and any candidate of their choice.
Right a letter stating moved out of state. Make sure it has old name and old address as registered in SC and DOB. MAIL TO. PO BOX 700 YAPHANK NY 11980.
I believe you can go down to the BOE in Yaphank, exit 67 off the LIE and get one, fill it out and leave it with the BOE have done it in the past on the morning of, filled it out and left it with the BOE
You can go to BOE to drop off an application for an absentee ballot. The only way you can receive a ballot is if your app was submitted at a prior date and is logged into the system. The ballots will most likely be mailed out late this week.
Yes
No, they have not.
Fill out a new voter registration form and send it to the Suffolk County BOE at PO Box Yaphank, NY 11980
Yes. But u must be registered in the same party as the primary. If not you can only vote in the November General Election. There is a few exceptions for minor parties.
Obtain a registration from the post office or print it off the Suffolk County Board of Election site
There is no voter ID card (or requirement) in New York. Some feel it is discriminatory to ask voters to prove they are allowed to vote.
You can actually just print and mail the form. When we moved we sent in the voter reg forms while we still had out of state ID’s
