Questions & Answers

I have two questions Are there regular Shabbat Services? I lived in Bensonhurst at the time that B. Morgenstern was the Rabbi 2- Is there a plaque or any notation of my Grandfather Jacob Bilger who was the Sexton from the 30's thru the 60's

Yes they're Regular Shabbat Services.

Is this place still open? Do they have daily services? 7/07/2021

They have Shachris Monday-Friday 6:45 & Sunday 7:30. The bullion outside has the Shabbos and holiday schedule.

What time do Shabbat morning services begin,

I hope you can help me. My great grandfather Aaron Jacoby belonged to Sons of Israel in the early to mid 1900s. Is his grandfather Jacob Geller still being memorialized? Thank you, Leslie Kramer

We attend Sons of Israel. I' m not sure I know what you mean by memorialized. There is a prayer that descendents say or pay someone else to say on the yearly date of the person's decease, the yahrtzeit. The yahrtzeit prayer can be said in any Orthodox shul with a minyan. I hope this helps you.
