Good food, fabulous view! Ample outdoor decks (2) in addition to indoors dining. If you go at 11:45am, you will be told about a wait for food as the kitchen wraps up breakfast and readies lunch/dinner. No problem! With drinks & that view, a wait was fine. Good place for tourists, MUCH less hectic than Okoboji Store, where most tourists go.

I've been there one other time, and the service was very good, but today to call it dismal might even be a compliment. We arrived at 11:50 a.m. and were told that it might be a 45 minute wait for our food as they were switching over from breakfast to lunch. That's not something I've ever heard from any restaurant other than a buffet, which we found odd. And they were not kidding as it took about 50 minutes for us to receive our food. If they were busy, I could have understood it a little bit more, but there were empty tables the entire time we were there. **** I was not able to figure out how to reply to the owner's reply, so I will at that to this. At the girl who with seating people not been so snarky, that would have helped my rating. And had our server offered us any drink refills even once during our 50 minute wait, that would have helped as well. And, if the large table that was seated quite a while after us had not received their food quite some before us, that would have helped. And did I mention that there were two other tables that were there before us that also we're still waiting for their food when they large table had received theirs, one of whom was still waiting for their food after we received ours, my review would have been very different. It still seems odd to me when so many restaurants serve breakfast anytime, a switch over from breakfast to lunch would be that complicated and not be completed until 12:30. Multiple employees were seen still bringing in jelly/jam table dispensers while we were eating our food beyond 1:00, so I'm not sure when the breakfast to lunch switch over was even completed. If we decide to try again, we'll make sure to wait until after 1 p.m.

Not a bad place. Menu isnt anything impressive. Food was good. Nice place overall. Better places around this place. But on a sat. Night they got a group of 10 people right away.
