Friendly community caring staff. To be clear none of these places are perfect but overall they really try to address residents wants and needs. Did a fantastic job during Covid. I am a licensed clinical psychologist who has been providing services in nursing homes, adult homes, and assisted living centers for 25 years. Providing care for senior citizens requires respect, dedication, caring, and often creativity. Over the past two years I have observed the entire administration and staff at Hertlin Place demonstrate these qualities at the highest level. They have developed a community that meets the needs of the very independent as well as the most needy. The Director of Sales, Jennifer Gonzalez, has been my main contact. This title does not reflect the many services she provides the residents of the community and their families. Her willingness to be flexible and creative in meeting the residents' needs helps make Hertlin Place a senior community that I recommend without reservation.

They don't even deserve the one star, but to write a review I have to choose one. No helpful staff, except 1...more like fend for yourself. Our main contact lady has not even visited my family member since arriving on Thursday. She gave lots of promises but no show of them. My family member has to wait a week before seeing the Dr., talk about neglect. Also, why fill out the admission paperwork when it's not read or followed? Wanted $$$ upfront then my family member is forgot about. Very upset with the transition for my family member.

It's independent living, not sure of the age requirement....the place is so nice clean & staff is wonderful. My dad was only there for a year & a half. Good luck, give them a call.
No, not in apartments. There are free machines on each floor, clean, fairly modern, and in good condition
