Small neighborhood theater.

Super Small. Seats don't have give and no cup holder armrest. Clean though.

Five stars because I support local businesses. Chairs were way too small and theatre was freezing but for the price you can’t complain.

Uniquely unique

SOMETIMES. I USUALLY GO TO IFC ON 6TH AVE. OR AMC ON 42ND ST. FOR FOREIGN FILMS.
It is open as of August 2021.
Today I saw "The Operative"--pretty good flick
Try Fandango website. Some of the movies can be bought online
Ugh, people can be so wrong! This theater has THREE theaters, not four. The first one is the biggest and nicest and probably holds over 100. The second theater is very small and only holds about 50. The third theater is downstairs and probably holds 75 or so.. The theater with four theaters in the basement is Village East theater which has been around for about 100 years and they have one absolutely beautiful theater.
It depends on the movie. If in English, probably not.
The closest is the Hyatt Union Square, above 300 USD per night at 3 blocks away, the cheapest is Chelsea Inn hotel, around 80 USD per night but 6 blocks away
