All the employees we talked to were very friendly and helpful. The motel is clean, quiet and comfortable. We will be making a few more trips to Baxter next year and will definitely stay here again.

Arrived just after 4:00 PM. NO ONE AT THE FRONT DESK. Note said to dial 0 on the phone. Waited 20 minutes for someone to show up. Had to call customer service at Choice Hotels. They rang up the responsible parties who showed up five minutes later. NOT IMPRESSED. Manager never seems to be on site and the "help" says manager maybe in on (pick a day) but when you call them on (pick a day) the manager is not in but may be in on (pick another day). The lobby door sticks but I can live with that. The toilet didn't shut off but I'm a maintenance guy so I fixed it myself. If you have small children, think twice. They're probably crabbie and by the time you get your room they'll be crabbier. Room appears clean so that's a plus. Low price but not worth the aggravation

this place is the worst place i have ever been to. we had made reservations 8 months ago at the AmericInn for the NHRA races ( we went through Expedia) we get to the hotel Americinn after driving 5 hours and we go check in and the lady says, we cancelled your reservation 2 days ago because your credit card expired in January (this is august now )and we tried calling you and left a message. i told her that number has been disconnected, no way you could of left a message( i even called the number and the number does not work). she called the owner(which owns Rodeway as well) she says ,what should i tell these people that you told me to cancel their rooms 2 days ago. The owner says tell them i'm sorry and send them over to the Rodeway hotel. Well we had no choice but to go because there was no other rooms anywhere. they charged us double from our original price. They do this a lot . They fill the americinn and cancel people's reservation and send them to this horrible hotel that never fills up because it is so dirty and old and very run down. I do not like getting taken advantage of and that's what happened to our group of people. They blamed everything on Expedia and said Expedia always does this.
