After having excruciating mammograms here for years I learned today that the degree of compression is up to the judgement of the technician. The lovely Asian lady who was assigned to me was superb unlike many of her counterparts whose comportment ranged from annoyance to anger when I complained that the pain was horrible. Perhaps some additional training would benefit your patients comfort level and expand the abilities of your technicians.

It's best if you schedule an appointment. Some procedures require advance scheduling due to availability of staff and if they have an influx of patients.

I don't know if they have a different type of machine. I just did a MRI of my right shoulder, and the machine is really small space. I think they can accommodate you in a different machine. They are very good in accommodating patient. Good luck!
