It was my first time apple picking and you can guess I was excited. For a 2 hour drive to a quiet area that reminded of the countryside, I was in awe till I spotted the small bag they gave me to carry my apples. The disappointment!!!! The hay ride tour of the orchard needs some improvement i.e. actual hay in the truck and some type of information as to what we were looking at. The children were disappointed due to the small bags but enjoyed what they could pick nonetheless. The gift shop has a variety of items to purchase and a restaurant/bar on site. But for a place so far, I felt we were cheated out of the apple picking experience. The bags were awfully SMALL. Ugh!

Came with my family, and my brother with his wife and their child, and the old guy directing the cars was rude and racist, It was embarrassed because I told my brother and his wife that Panning Orchard was one the best. It is sad that we had to experience such a disgusting behavior. We will never come back to this place. After that we went to Ochs Orchard and the kids had a blast.

$20/car minimum
I believe it is a minimum of one bag per car and each bag costs $20. They usually have larger bags of you would like to pick more apples, but that is the minimum so that people don't come, take a parking space, and not buy anything.

I have seen a dog once there over but i don't think it's allowed. There are other animals there and small children. Wouldn't recommend it
I don't have young kids. But the ground is pretty rugged. Dirt rocks some small holes
