cleanliness and maintenance is not a priority in room or anywhere in the facility except maybe lobby. Floor tiles are cracked, hair in sink and floor that were there when we entered room, no toilet paper in bathroom, particles stuck to walls that have not been cleaned, restrooms filthy downstairs... dirt buildup that has been left behind for a very long time, restroom door paint coming off and doors are sticky to the touch. Bed in our room was lumpy and to small for frame. no screen on balcony sliding door so we then stayed with a number of fly's for our stay after opening the sliding door once. carpet in room and hallways is filthy. so all in all I've been in better motel6 motels than this place. Staff in Charlies very poor communication, signage and presentation. Food not great.

We had a great warm up happy hour on the roof top. The food looked amazing though I didn't try any that night. The bartenders were well mannered and made good drinks. The view was awesome and all the fire tables made it cozy and warm!

Nice, but lacked the details that make a place special. We stayed in a street view room during the week, so the price was reasonable. Hotel staff were friendly. No lamps next to the bed, so you have to climb out of bed to flip a wall switch. Bathroom had a pedestal sink that was pretty and went along with the theme of the room, but there was no space for toiletries when getting ready on the morning. Furniture was ornate with lots of grooves that needed dusting, though the room seemed overall clean. The location is convenient if you want to be downtown Stillwater, but we would not likely stay here again.

Enjoyed the hotel and the food was very good. *** Service at Charlies' leaves a lot to be desired! Went there for romantic night get away, bought the "stay & eat" package. DO NOT get the package!! Basically the server sees that you have the package, and could really care less about taking care of your table. Was shocked to see that I was FORCED to pay the gratuity on the entire bill, before they took off the $150 that was the package deal. Thus one can not control the level of tip, and for the server, they know that they do not have to do jack, and will get a nice healthy tip. I had to engage the manager 4 times to get water refills, drinks, etc. At end of night, engaged both Charlies' manager and the GM of the hotel, only to find that our server is the owner's daughter, and neither one had the balls to confront the server, nor make any adjustments to our bill. I'll go back to the the hotel, but I will NEVER buy a package deal again, and I highly suggest you look at the fine print, so as not to get screwed by poor service.
