The church doesn't publish the exact same Bible edition as they did 20 years ago, it's been updated a bit with references, pictures, maps, etc. You can purchase one online at store.lds.org or the missionaries can give you an inexpensive paperback copy for free, request it through comeuntochrist.org/beliefs/missionaries/missionaries-request

If I come in on a cruise ship on Sunday, how could I get to the closest church? Are there services being held around noon?

So many options for getting materials from this church! ComeUntoChrist.org is a great place to start. It explains all the basic beliefs of the church. From that site you can request to have missionaries deliver books and/or study with you. You can also access digital copies of all the church publications at ChurchofJesusChrist.org or an app called "Gospel Library". Everything from sermons to magazines to curriculum materials is available there for free. Physical paper copies can be requested from missionaries or purchased from store.lds.org. If you are looking for an email list, there is a place to enter your email address at the bottom of comeuntochrist.org for their weekly inspiration.

When is service. I would like to join. My friend Robert from Salt Lake City gave me the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenant, Pearl of Great Price and I’ve been reading them. I would love to attend a service on a Sunday to learn more about Mormons.
