We stayed here for the World Series baseball tournament held for the year. As soon as we got there we wanted to check in and go back to the field, we got a key at 12:00 and went off to our room. We get to the room and I immediately like to check for bed bugs and things that I could take back with me. We did not find bed bugs but we found Frosted Flakes under the bed as well as a cockroach that was running across the bed. I immediately grab the roach with a tissue and take it to the front desk. She tells me she can put me in a different room but she can not refund me. So I say ok. They put us in a room that was very damp and smelt of fish so bad I couldn’t breathe. We then discovered that the odor was coming from THE BED. So my boyfriend and I turn that key back in and stick with the first room we were given and we left. Later we came back and went to the pool and while we were in the pool an employee was sitting by the pool smoking a blunt, which doesn’t smell the best. We then go back into the room to chill. My boyfriend takes a shower I go to the gym and when I come back to take a shower I move the trash can in our room and there is another cockroach. My boyfriend comes me down and we all go to dinner. The night came and we needed to plug our phones up and no outlets worked except for the one in the bathroom, where the hair dryer was broken. The next morning we leave early for the games and return for a short period of time and leave. Without all of those issues we did sleep good and it was not noisy, we had a nice view of the pool and it was a great location for a hotel.

Pros: The hotel is in a good location, close to pretty much anything you want or need. The front desk staff, while slow, are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Cons: Almost none of the electrical outlets provided in the room actually worked. They felt "wallowed out", as if they had been used for years and years and simply wore out. Plug something in and the plug wobbles and doesn't create a connection. Some of the areas need remodeling as there are chips, cracks, peeling wallpaper, etc. The hotel seems to have become popular among construction workers, which has brought a huge increase in noise and filth tracked all over the floors.

Room was clean, a bit on the small side for the price. But that is the only reason it gets the second star, everything else was unacceptable. - Took 20 minutes for the bathtub to drain, toilet was extremely weak, so it took 3 flushes every single time just to get back clear water. - No microwave as advertised. - Front desk was extremely unhelpful. I waited for 10 minutes just to check in, as he had a sign stating he would be right back. He then hurried through the check in process (including asking me things a hotel has never asked me, like my full address). He asked for my card, and I informed him I had already paid online. He said it was for incidentals, but didn't disclose how much was being put on hold. Never gave me any info about the place. No wifi info, no checkout time info, no info on breakfast, nothing. He didn't even explain where my room was, and the best way to get to it, and even 2 star hotels do that. - The side door doesn't work, so I had to park right by the side door (that says you can enter as long as you have your room key), but it wasn't in service, so we had to carry everything all the way to the front and try and find the elevators that he didn't bother explaining the location of. - The outlets that are on the lamp did not work, had to charge my phone in the bathroom, since that was the closest outlet that worked. I would have been better off at plenty of other places in Anderson, for a fraction of the cost. I decided to splurge for a more pricey hotel in the area, and was let down bad. Will never stay here again, luckily there are plenty of other options in Anderson that are cheaper.

The staff here is amazing, very friendly and efficient! Please note that breakfast is not included on this property and a separate charge of 12 per person would be charged to eat breakfast on site. We chose to eat off site (several great breakfast options in the area) to save money. Our particular room had extreme rust on the bathroom light fixture and bedside plug ins did not work, but still a clean room and facilities throughout. The staff here make this hotel a great location to stay!
