Had lunch here on July 15 and 3 of our 4 dishes were delicious! I had the Iron Ranch Chicken Breast which came with mashed potatoes. I'm getting hungry again just thinking of them. So very flavorful and tasty. My husband had the Turkey dinner (pictured) and loved it. Son had a cheeseburger which was flamebroiled and very high quality. My daughter had the BBQ Chicken flatbread pizza and it was just okay which was too bad because it was a very generous portion! I had a bite and thought the sauce was very sweet....too sweet. Overall it was a terrific choice for lunch and we will certainly return next time we visit the MOA.

So I ate at a few different restaurants in the Mall of America during my trip to Minnesota, and this place was by far the best. It was the considered the best in the places I looked up before my trip, and I can confirm, you must come here. The whole vibe is old school 50's diner/regular restaurant. I can't explain it. But it's nice; comforting. Anywho, I got seated by my super nice wait staff and took to ordering. I got the Northern Lakes Fresh Walleye Fish Fry (our specialty; tartar sauce, garlic coleslaw). It was very, very good. I will say this: some of you will think that there is too much breading on this, and you are correct. But I didn't mind. I use enough tartar sauce and ketchup to make it a-ok. There were a couple of pieces of fish that I de-breaded to check out the quality of the fish itself. According to my server, this is like a dish that can only be done right in Minnesota. It's a beautiful white fish, flakey kind of like salmon is. I enjoyed it. You will, too. I also got to sample the Tuna Melt (house-made tuna salad, grilled with cheddar cheese). This was so, so good. Large hunks of tuna in the salad mixture. Super moist, but the whole thing holds together, so you won't have salad falling off your sandwich with every bite. Totally holds up. The cheese is an interesting choice, I assume it's a Minnesota thing, but it wasn't bad. Overall, I feel like I didn't type out a five star experience here, but I was to make it clear that it was one. I loved everything about it. I think you will, too.

The dinner rolls, served with special butter , were delicious. The beef stroganoff was very good, but some steak pieces were a bit grisly.

We love coming here. Twin City Grill is a rare restaurant that has staying power and still maintains quality items. We were there for a light lunch, but my chicken Caesar salad was delicious and as always, the fries were good. If we’re in the mall, this is always our first choice.
