Aweosme spot near Lake Michigan, about 12 minutes to the Visitors Center. The pool is absolutely awesome! Super clean and new looking! The actual RV spots are pretty close together with very very minimal grass, but most of them have a concrete slab which was nice. They do also have fire rings. My biggest complaint would be that they are over the top about dogs and cleaning up after your pet (which obviously I agree, people should clean up after their pet), but this place was pretty extra about it with the abundance of signage and signed agreements and fees, it seemed like their number one focus. Overall, good campground, we would come back.

Campground in general is fine. The written rules I found to be condescending but straight forward. We needed to check out 3 day early so I read the rules which said we would forfeit our deposit of one night and a $10 cancelation fee. I called the office to speak with the owner Amy who stated in the confirmation email I received it states no refunds. She offered a gift card which I did not accept because we will not be back in this area. I am filing a report with the BBB to dispute since the written rules that we signed at the office does not state no refunds.

We are tent campers. We camp quite a bit. This place is just ok. We were put in the front section for tents which we liked because we were by ourselves under the trees, but we were basically primitive camping.... With highway noise. All night long we heard traffic. The bathrooms are pretty gross and the showers scared my toddler, but we are camping. There is a pool which looked nice and a nice playground. You are super close to town and food which is good because there is no grate over the fire and it is pretty tiny so you probably couldn't cook over it anyway. We would stay here again if we absolutely had to (like this time all the state parks were booked) but would not really plan on it. Basically stayed here to visit Indiana Dunes National Park.

We didn't stay after going in the check in and looking around the campsite . The lodge was not very inviting. The shelves were sparsely stocked, and the recreation area had pool and ping pong tables covered in clothes so they did not look to be in operation. The price was outrageous, $62 compared to Indiana Dunes State Park at $23 same day. The lots were so close together, too. Maybe it's nicer in the summer, that was in April, but it was not what I wanted for my first camping trip in our new RV. I found the State Park to be exquisite with huge lots full of big trees, and other campers were not right on top of you as it was very spacious. Michigan City Campround does say it has a laundry facility and a pool, so if I were them I'd really make those amenities spotless, and make that lodge inviting to justify the high price. It was a good campground when I was a kid in the 70s.

Yes. We have water and electric and rustic site available for tent camping. Reservations are required and tents are not supplied.
There are no individual cable hook ups for every site, however I don't know if they have cable in the cabins. It's a good possibility they do bc I know they offer free Wi-Fi
They are open until the end of October, so I would think that you could tent camp in October
Michigan city campgrounds is year around and a nice place. Nice owners clean close to every thing all around nice place
This is a camp ground not a parking facility.
No fishing on the camp site. But there are creeks near by that you can put your kayak in. But those creeks are not very deep
yup! on a leash or in the tent
Short answer is yes, you see skirts on RV's and large propane tanks.
Very nice Campground with a nice little store. It's peaceful and clean. The owners seems to care alot about everyone. I recommend this Campground.
9pm...call or go on the web site
I was there 2 weeks ago. Posted a review and a pic of the showers. They're definitely clean but in desperate need of remodeling. There's also only 3 in each of the men's and women's bathrooms.
We had are own
