Everything went according to planned. I Was told to get there at 8am opening to avoid waiting delays because being first processed happened on a first come basis first serve basis. I was also told the initial processing would take about an hour and everything was completed within the 1 hour time prediction.

My wife needed to obtain a COVID test. The scheduling was quick and easy. The testing process was very smoothly operated. Kudos to the coordinator and testers! Today, we received our vaccine. Again, the scheduling was quick and easy, with several appointment availability to choose from. We arrived at the vaccine site. Very well laid out. More than enough folks at the entrance to the testing site and entrance to vaccine lanes. The vaccine administration station was well organized, staff courteous, process very slick. We were both vaccinated at the same time and the shot record had the recommended date for the 2nd vaccine. There was a post-vaccine line with staff to provide additional information. Kudos to the planner, staff and volunteers. My reference for the eval: I am a retired state PH emergency preparedness director and opioid program director.

Great professionalism and customer service. The staff we met were very friendly, helpful, and relatable.

My son had an appointment at the Calvert County Health Department. I was surprised and upset to see that there were no COVID 19 procedures being implemented (aside from some people wearing masks). THIS IS THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT?! Of all the places we’ve visited, if we get sick, it will be from here. There was no hand sanitizer available in the waiting room for patients (even after filling out paperwork!), no covid-19 health screening questions at intake, no signs about social distancing, mask wearing, or hand washing. People in the waiting room were not 6 ft apart, and some staff members weren’t wearing masks in the narrow hallway where they take you back to see a practitioner. One practitioner did not keep his mask over his nose when interacting with us. The place was no different than it would have been prior to Covid-19, with the exception of some staff wearing masks. This is extremely concerning, and I wonder why it was allowed. Many low income people, and/or at risk people, come into Calvert County behavioral health department. Why aren’t people being protected? It’s a stark contrast to the other facilities I’ve visited, where safety, caution, and education has been a top priority.

Yes
If he scheduled his first vaccination via phone, then he should be receiving a second phone call to confirm the details of time and date. If he scheduled his first vaccine by email, then there should either be a link to register for his second vaccination included OR he'll be receiving a second email as the promised date comes closer.
I don't know if they will or not. I would call health department and ask.

Call the phone number. It'll tell you
There are no Dental facilities in the building. However there are dental practices very close to this location. You might be interested in Dargan & Miller DDS which is right across the street at the corner of Stokely and Solomon's Island Road.
