I booked directly with the hotel 5 days before our trip. The price was a $111 per night. that was the best possible, Hilton Honors price. However, the morning of our trip I saw that the price had gone down to $99 a night. I called the hotel to see if I could receive the new lower rate and was declined. They said it was too late to cancel or change the reservation. I was not trying to cancel or change anything, But as a Hilton honors member booking directly through the hotel and not using a 3rd party site, I did expect to receive the lowest possible price. All I learned is that being a Hilton honors member does not get you the lowest possible price and that frankly there is no real "loyalty" involved. This hotel would have received a 5 star review otherwise.

We needed an overnight stay ahead of a competition at Grandville High School, so I was happy to find this Hilton hotel right behind the campus. The hotel and our room were impeccably clean, and the breakfast had a great variety of foods to choose from. The only issues we ran into were our digital key in the Hilton app did not work upon arrival, the parking lot was plowed poorly so there were many unusable spaces, and our sliding bathroom door was very hard to move. Other than those small issues, we had a good stay and would not hesitate to return for our next trip to the area. Finally, the location is fantastic with easy access from the freeway and plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby, including a Costco with gas station a short drive down the same street.

They accommodated my mobility issues and gave us a room on the first floor near the outside door. The breakfast buffet is excellent. We were in town for a family funeral. The unlimited coffee in the lobby was appreciated.

Very impressed with this hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating! They let us use the pool with our kids and grandkids before checking in. They got us in our room early and it was a clean, fine room. The breakfast was excellent as well. We'll definitely stay here again next time.
