I went to get a copy of my 3yr old daughter’s birth certificate on a Thursday afternoon. No where in the overview does it says they are open Monday, Wednesday, Friday for birth certificates. I spent unnecessary money going back and forth, I’m a single mom and I can’t afford to throw away money like that. Get a website or something!! This is unacceptable!

No sir if the child is under one we have a form that you can fill out have notarized a mail to Baltimore if the child is over 1 you have to change the name with the courthouse and then send all the court documents to Baltimore

I am not sure what that all Intel when you do a name change, but I must say if it was done correctly and legally (name change that is) an you was born in the state of Maryland. I don't see why not just take some form of prof of papers there to the Vital records and everything should be a go!

Yes you get it the same day. You have to fill out an information form as required, and pay a $25 fee. Make sure you have a social security card, and state issued ID with you.
