Trails are hard to travel if fishing from shore... As far as going on a nature walk its peaceful if u can get over the highway noise.... Not a whole lot in good fishing in these waters... Im told there are catfish there but not many... Far too much seaweed to really do any catfishing.... There are a few big bass in here but i feel like its over fished... I've been here 5 times with my dad been out on our new kayaks once..... Late April early may and waters are still too cold saw a couple large mouth keepers but they weren't eating.... Maybe ill try it again in a week or two... For now looking for bigger better fishing... Everything here is basically catch and release

Nice little lake. I tried fishing from shore in January when part of it was open from ice. My son got one bite but that was it for us. We brought the dog and some point gave up on fishing and took the dog for a hike. A lot of brush put plenty of worn trails to get around with. Saw lots of beaver tree work and a couple of newer beaver huts.

Clean, easily accessible. Nice trails. No real good fishing. At least not today.

No-wake lake with trails nicely maintained, lots of places to fish off the bank including a dock. I have caught some monster bluegill there and have seen lots of big bass. The only drawback is no outhouses!

You can stay/fish over night, setting up a camp camp (i.e. tent) would be frowned upon as that would be in most cases land clearing if some sort. There is a rules and regulations sign/board there. We had blankets chairs small cookin set cooler fishing gear and license for our night there. Seen people have small fires, but small gas setup is best out there.
