They gave me a loving Grand Baby Pup Apollo that I loved so very much. My son could not adopt him outright because the Shelter incorrectly labeled him Rescue Only because they said he was aggressive with other dogs. Thank you to Michelle, Bryanna, and Joey for stepping in at his 11th hour and saving his life. He will always be a part of our family. He has so many fur siblings and human cousins that love and miss him greatly. Thank you Hooves and Paws for being such wonderful people not just to Apollo, but to all those you lives you take in and care for. My son sent me pictures of your amazing Sanctuary and all the animals in your care. Bless you all for doing god’s work.

Hooves and Paws is wonderful. They take in the animals that many others would leave behind and give their all to take care of them. It is so well run and organized. It should make you feel good to know there are people in the world doing this work and it would make you feel even better if you supported them in doing it! My family adopted a gorgeous Pittie girl from there and H&P were incredibly supportive through the process.

Hi Samantha. Thank you for contacting us about your dog. Unfortunately we are at our legal limit and unable to take dogs at this time. I recommend trying to contact some other rescues in the area. You can use petfinder.com to search by ZIP code. Most of those rescues listed are no kill. I hope you are able to find a safe place for your dog.

You are always welcome to check back with us but we also suggest contacting as many other no-kill rescues as possible. You can search for other rescues on Petfinder.com and Petharbor.com.
