I love to read these comments. This is a nice bridge despite some of the comments you may see. There is no passing on the bridge and if drivers would abide by the rules and speed limit it's a perfectly safe bridge. And if it's too slow for you get up earlier or go North around town!

Bridges close at 45 mile sustained winds.
The sheriff's office or state troopers will be directing traffic on to Roosevelt or San Jose depending on which way you're going and that's in the event that wind speeds exceed a certain amount
Bridge is not closing - Hwy Maintenance just be safe on your travels
Open. And be sure to.leave a car length im front of you to allow zipper merging. You have the right of way and ate in the right not to let them in, obeying the law they have no cause to curse you. But should you be a car kength back to alliw them to see and merge, then you may be blessed, but you are not damned foe keeping pace with the car in front. When merging int o traffic , THEY gave to yeild, and if necessary, stop. Yes, stop. But to keep things moveng all goid people know to try to merge prior to the merge lane running out, just because you reach the end does not give you the right to cut in for mergers do not have the right -of-way and so they yield and if need be, stop. Even orofessional truckers know to get in the lane when merging well before the merge labe ends, BECAUSE it keeps trafgic moving, no stop's. You wait untill the end and try to cut in? You create stops.
It can be accessed by Roosevelt blvd by taking 295 South and San Jose by taking 295 North
Yes, just get in the lane you intend to stay in throughout the course of the bridge and stay there , dont go slower than the speed limit of 65, and if you have to turn, use your blinker by turning it on well before you intend to turn, wait a bit with blinker on while still moving at 65mph to be sure other cars see you, then when you see a convenient and casual opening? Then you move over. If there is none too bad for you and go out of your way to next exit.
Just came from orange park side. At 10:30 Moderate traffic. Should be a cluster around 5pm the other way as always. No construction.
