The laundry, bathrooms and showers are great 👍. Very clean and well kept. Security patrol drives through often. Staff are very pleasant and friendly.

A camper that has sides that slide out, therefore making the camper wider.
We loved it aside from the ant problem.
These are not the kind if people that wear masks.
As of last week direct access was open.
We visited last this past February and was $40.00 a night regardless if you have a 30 or 50 Amp. We ho there often.
No, if you pay to camp and sign a release and follow the rules of the camp the ride ban comes with price of stay.
I believe dirt bikes, ATV's and side by sides are permitted within the KOA with some restrictions on their use. Permits are required to use the trails in the National Forest. For specifics, I would recommend you call the park directly.
We were just there a couple of weeks ago people in the campers were with pets they're really not cabins they're like those Park Model campers. The pet area is about a 900 square-foot chain-linked square around an oak tree no grass it does have benches for you to sit at. the grounds do have sandspurs every time we walked our dogs they had sand spurs in their feet so you have to pick the Spurs out. It was a really very nice place we didn't see any rambunctious people the pool was nice great for bicycling as for fishing there's a really Steep Hill to get down to the water wasn't very fisherman friendly very small area to fish. Four wheelers are welcome they do have rules that you must have I buy they have security to enforce those rules there's cheap rides in the forest at night if you own a Jeep it was a great place was a great weekend shaded camp areas it was great we have no complaints other than the sand spurs which is part of Florida so you just deal with it..
RV Sites are now $40 a night for 2 adults and & children 11 & under. Extra adults or children 12 or older will cost an extra $5 per person. If your rig is longer the 59 ft. or you over flow onto sites around you there will an extra charge .
Our Prices are now $25 a night. For 2 Adults and Children 11 & under are free! For electric you will need a power adaptor that is 30 amp male to 15 amp female.
We do have rental units, but they are not technically "cabins" Those have to be booked through our office, but you can check out pictures and prices at koa.com/campgrounds/fort-mccoy/site-type/lodging/
We do have a select few fire pits here to loan out, but we do recommend bringing your own above ground pit if you have one.
If you can take 5 miles of dirt road you can get to Anastasia Island in about 1hr. If you are unable to take dirt road then it adds about another hour.
You will have to go to call to see if they offer weekly rates. On the website, the daily rate shows $125.00 per night in Feb. 2018. Price includes 2 adults and 2 children aged 11 and under.
Ummm no its in the middle of the Ocala national forest. Only if you get cell service. Call them an they will tell you these folks are mistaken just stay there 12/2017
No..no dogs in the cabins. They are very strict about that. There are other cabin rentals further away that may allow them
Campground no, but Fort McCoy does which is about 15 miles away.
Depends on the equipment you. give them a call. One friend pays 398 plus tax for a motor home
