Enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Nice pool area. Warm cookies in the evening was also nice. Gym needs some work...but overall not bad.

Positive: Very friendly, clean, every room was well marked, so you knew when the laundry room was etc. I was impressed with the continental breakfast. Very nice selection. I have to say, it was the best one I ever had ¿¿

Arrived at Best Western Hi-Desert Inn, 3/21/22,9:10 p.m. after a long drive, intending to stay one night w/my 30 lb. dog. No reservation. Am Best Western Loyalty Member, many years. A room with two queen beds was available, price quote $144.89. My US Bank Visa was declined.(Phoned bank next morning.Funds were sufficient as expected.As a traveller, I'd forgotten to notify my bank of upcoming travel locations.My error.) I offered to pay cash. Desk clerk advised policy prevents cash transactions at check-in, and she abruptly turned a solo 60+year old senior female away, out into the desert night.

Outstanding staff. The rooms are super clean and roomy! We loved the King suite. Breakfast was wonderful. The only issue is, the walls are paper thin. You can hear the noise in the hallways and stairs. Otherwise it was a great stay.
