Great for new boat owners. We were really stressed about holding up the line being our first time, but it was really easy to get in and out of and the other boaters were very nice as well. Very clean bathrooms too.

No fee. It officially closes at sundown, but they never close the gate.

Do I need a trailer parking permit or a permit to use a ramp at Mariner Park

You do not need either. There's 2 lots for trailers. The one on the ramp side of road accommodates larger trailers.

Can you use the hard launch before sunrise? (ie is the front gate locked or open?)

Gate is almost always open. People launch early a lot.

I launch my boat there frequently. I've never seen kayak rentals at the park. There are boat related businesses...boat storage and services. They might have a rental.

What's the fee for the ramp non resident? I'm from jersey never ramped there? Fish the northeast most of the time
