Terrible experience. The insurance lady accused me of lying about having insurance. I have Medicaid but for some reason the billing wasn’t going through so she accused me of lying about having Medicaid in the first place. I had to go get a letter stating that I was indeed on Medicaid. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from them. And after all that the kicked me out and transferred me to another clinic. She should have been fired for that but instead I’m the one who gets thrown out and I didn’t do a single thing wrong. It’s their fault for not billing my insurance correctly and for calling me a liar for no reason other than a hunch. That’s the most un professional behavior I’ve ever seen. I don’t get how they can say such things without even the slightest bit of proof at all. She sure looked like a fool when I came back the next day with the letter proving my enrollment. I mean anyone with even a hint of intelligence would realize how stupid they would look if they happen to be wrong. Do not go here all they care about is money the couldn’t care less about your recovery.

Hello Art, I would only add that you go up to whatever level holds you. If you need more than 100mg, then you would need to see the doctor again so she can review your findings to determine how you are handling the increased dose. There is usually never a problem, but it is part of the protocol to keep everyone healthy and safe. Thank you for your question and if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to call EJAL Health Services.
Nikki said it right, talk to Jeff, call day before and he can check insurance or med assist for you, take care of things so you won't be at intake quite so long. Good luck to you,
They're closed Wednesday, so uht get in there Tuesday. Don't allow urself to fall into the position of not havn meds the days they're closed bcuz NO E.R. will help u! Don't do that to urself, it's miserable😩
Hello, Shirl. EJAL provides Methadone and counseling. We work in partnership with KP Counseling who do provide Suboxone services as an adjunct when necessary. They are located in the same building as well as having a Hampden location. You can call (410) 320-9967 with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
ONLY if they can get your info from your previous place. I unfortunately had this problem because "We Care Arundel" on Aquahart are shady and dont seem to do anything by the book. They wouldnt cooperate and I sat thru 2 calls ..Ejal tried to call them at least 4 seperate times/days to get my info faxed over and they wouldnt do it cause they're ignorant and rude people over there. I've now been at ejal for 6 months at least tho and I still only have one week of take homes without any mess ups so idk what the hell they're doing either but I'm not too happy. Seems to be that any of these places will try to get you in a jam and blame ANYTHING they can on you so that you have to stay in the program longer. I didnt wanna believe it at first. It's literally like living with chains on methadone. Or drugs.
Yes and no thr methadone is the same but the manufacturers are different depending on clinic
No
I asked my counselor to call me anytime they're closed bcuz iht go without meds one day when they were closed(n that was BOTH TIMES of missing meds for me....1st AND LAST!!) SMH I'd suggest u either contact them(via website/phone/something??)bcuz going without I no fun! Good luck!
Hi Wayne! I completely understand! We have enough staff at EJAL to handle walk ins. If you or somebody you know needs help, the best thing to do is call. We are here to help you take the next step.
