This has been my favorite grocery store for many years, with familiar faces, variety in product choices, and good service. Recently, however, the service is often disappointing. The store installed several self-checkout lanes and reduced the number of face-to- face lanes. The management appears to want to steer customers to self-checkout and has visibly reduced the number of service personnel and open face-to-face lanes. I imagine they would say they are simply providing customers more options. I suspect the truth is that they are seeking to save money and boost profits by cutting the number of employees at work at any given time. The face-to-face checkout service, however, was for me always part of what I appreciated -- one of the reasons I kept shopping at Publix instead of the nearby Walmart grocery store with self-checkout lanes but also lower prices. I often feel I have to stubbornly wait in a long face-to-face lane now so that management will understand they need to open more lanes. It's frustrating. Shopping at Publix is not the "pleasure" it used to be.

Nice, clean store, friendly staff. A lot of tasty sweets. Good collection of roses. Recommend!

Usually a good to great experience ✅ Not tonight.. it was 😕 meh. 3 young adults at our checkout and NO enthusiasm And barely a thank you. And we were out usual cheerful somewhat amusing selves;) Then the heavy stuff was packed on the grapes and avocados. Glass bottles packed on top of one a other instead of T least side by side. Just generally not the usual attention to details or the customer service experience.
