My wife and I toured the facility and immediately placed a deposit and joined the wait list as have three other people we recommended to the Lodge. The facility in Rehoboth is absolutely beautiful. From the spacious entry, and brightly lit hallways, to the beautiful pub, dining room, pool and sitting rooms on every floor. It feels like we’d be living on an elegant cruise ship.

Each morning I wake up and praise God for bringing me to the Truitt Homestead. There is not enough space in this review to address the myriad of benefits that are provided to the residents. To name a few, activities abound for every desire from physical, cultural, educational and those for just plain fun. The staff at Truitt is beyond belief. They are courteous, friendly, competent and just a joy to interact with. The facilities within the Lodge are also amazing. There is an 80 seat theatre, an indoor pool, a salon, a workout center, a game room, and a dining room and pub that serve outstanding food and drink. The many other amenities include a large patio for outdoor activities. Best of all, you reside at the Homestead by paying rent and not having to pay an exorbitant entry fee which most likely depletes savings. To sum it up, I love this place! Frank R. Young

A single bedroom unit is around $4300 a month. This also includes a monthly meal voucher for $250 that can be used in the dinning room, or the pub. My mother has been living there for almost 2 years, and she is a hard one to please, so they must be doing something right. The place has daily activities, a movie theater, hair salon and a indoor pool. They also can arrange transportation for the residents. It's not cheap, but it's extremely safe, leaving little for my mom, (or me) to worry about. The staff is great. I highly recommend the Lodge

Hi Joe, we do not have accommodations for visitors available at the community but can provide you with a list of area hotels we recommend. We know there are plenty of options but we can point you in specific direction if you need some help. That's what our concierge is available for :)
YES! It is an indoor and outdoor pool in one!
The Lodge is a monthly rental community, so we don't charge large, six-figure entrance fees to move into our community. Residents pay a modest community fee (one or two month's rent) and then sign a one-year lease. After that living at The Lodge is month-to-month and very flexible!
