My husband and I went to the NSB Advanced location this morning to get his battery checked for his F250 diesel truck. The associate Brad attempted to check one of his batteries but couldn’t get a read because the truck was “pulling power” from somewhere. My husband suggested to test the other battery (since it may be the dud) but Brad said it wouldn’t matter and to go to a mechanic so we went to another Advanced Auto to get a second a opinion. When we arrived they immediately noticed the other battery (the one Brad said would be pointless to check) was SMOKING and leaking acid! Brad wasn’t helpful or thorough whatsoever. We’ll never go to this Advanced location again.
